A Bedtime Story (group work)

Once upon a time there was a colorful curtain. She had green dots and a beautiful edge. She was joyful and used to playing with the wind every time the window was open.

One summer night, a clumsy mosquito flew in by mistake and got caught in the curtain.
“Who are you?” asked the curtain surprised. Nobody has visited her for a very long time.
“Me?”, asked the mosquito scared. I’m Miqui, the Mosquito. My family lived for a long time with the royal family in England but the exterminator came and killed them all. So now, I’m alone through the world. Sorry for disturbing you, madam!”
“Carry on with your story, please. You’re not disturbing me!”
And then the mosquito started talking about his adventures- how he managed to escape from the exterminator, how he traveled through the world and got there. They became very good friends and the mosquito kept visiting her daily.

One day, a tragic event took place. The woman living with the curtain brutally smashed the mosquito on the wall. He had no chance to survive. The next day, she took and washed the curtain so that the body of the mosquito couldn’t be seen anymore.

But he’ll always remain the curtain’s best friend and Miqui will live happily ever after in her memory.
